Dr. Blaise Ryan

Currently an advocate for parents who want their children to grow up in a more peaceful and caring world. A dad himself, he is the co-author of The Happy Child Guide and co-creator of the Parent Learning Association.

Long before he became a doctor, young Blaise Ryan was raised on a remote country sheep cattle farm in French Quebec. Dr. Ryan spent time studying traditional Thai massage in Northern Thailand and worked with many healers in India. At first, his intentions were not to become a doctor or healer, but only to learn about natural medicine.

Dr. Ryan graduated at the top of his class as the valedictorian speaker, from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences, which is recognized as the Harvard of Chinese Medical Universities in North America. He now teaches, yoga, advanced Asian massage remedy and acupuncture, as well as traditional Chinese medicine all over the world.

After years of researching, teaching and practicing medicine and health, while being a father himself, the important connection between health and child rearing prompted him to co-author The Happy Child Guide.
