Another way of saying it is that guys act as if they are very interesting. They figure they should be interesting for a girl to be thinking about them. Sorry guys, but it doesn't work that way. You have to be enthusiastic about the girl, not interesting to get her attention. Did you ever see two interesting persons on a date. It's hilarious! They are both so busy wanting to be interesting to the other that neither has time to be considering another.
If you don't know what I am discussing, think what makes you feel better. A girl who is interested in you? Or a girl who is letting you know how cool she is, how hot she really is, etc, and all sorts of other interesting factors.
Interesting leads to many rejections and "platonic" friendships by the way. Girls will be friends with a guy who is really interesting. Why? Girls like to be amused and entertained. Interesting guys are kind of like children to them. A source of non-sexual entertainment and pleasure.
